Before anyone starts, you get a written list of every area we clean and how often we clean it. A commercial office cleaning contract in London covers much the same ground everywhere: desks, meeting rooms, kitchens, washrooms, floors and waste. What separates a good contract from a poor one is whether that list exists on paper.
We agree it with you at the survey. It names each area, each task, and how often the task happens. Anything outside the list is priced separately, so you can see it rather than discover it.
Two rooms decide whether a contract works, and they are not the ones people expect. Kitchens and washrooms are checked by your staff every single day. Desks can look fine for weeks while standards quietly drop in the places everybody notices.

Equipment is always included. Washroom consumables and periodic work can sit inside the price or outside it, and we tell you which at the survey.
Ask every provider one question before you compare their quotes. Are toilet roll, hand towels, soap and bin liners inside the price, or billed on top? Until you know, you are comparing two different services. On a mid sized office that single gap runs to several hundred pounds a year.

What a very low quote tells you. It usually means the cleaner is self employed or supplied by an agency, or that the hours have been trimmed until the weekly number looked right.
Compare on hours, not on rate. That is why professional office cleaning in London is worth comparing on hours rather than on rate. Two quotes at the same weekly figure can price ninety minutes a day or two and a half hours. On paper they match. On site they are a different service, and the difference tends to show up around week six.
